The company was founded by a group of academic researchers and has grown to become a team, developing, managing and advising highly sophisticated IT or blockchain projects in a customer-centric manner.

Benjamin Leiding

Founder & CEO

Benjamin is the founder and CEO of Chaindrium and an academic researcher at the University of Göttingen (Germany), where his research focuses on the Machine-to-Everything (M2X) Economy, blockchain technology and (decentralized) identity solutions. Additionally, he is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of Chorus Mobility, a research and development company working on transportation solutions for connected and autonomous vehicles.

Dr. Mayutan Arumaithurai

Co-Founder & CTO

Mayutan is the co-founder of Chaindrium and a senior researcher at the University of Göttingen (Germany) with a focus on communication technologies and distributed networking. Besides publishing in some of the top peer reviewed conferences in his field, he is a co-author of IETF/IRTG standards and has also led multiple million Euro research and training projects. Currently, his focus as part of the Chaindrium team is to work on Blockchain architecture and solutions, overseeing implementation efforts, and providing consultation and training.

Simon Schuler

Lead Developer

Simon is the Lead Developer and Software Architect at Chaindrium. His duties range from system architecture and design to overseeing and developing code. Prior to and alongside with his engagement in Blockchain Technology, he studied Computer Science at the University of Göttingen (Germany) while working at a medium-sized enterprise as a software developer. During that time he focused on unit-test-driven development, maintaining big software components in an agile team and Logstash.

Lukas Tatge

Business Consultant

Lukas is currently studying Global Business as a double degree at the University of Göttingen (Germany) and the University of Nanjing (China). Previously he worked in IT consulting as well as digital strategy consulting with a focus on digital transformation and change management. Within Chaindrium Lukas is responsible for supporting our strategic direction, conducting market analyses and developing the external profile of the company.
